MISSION

our focus

Changing the Lives of Veterans and Military Spouses Every Day…

through the use of our Virtual Career Readiness Program, exclusively developed for veterans and military spouses. Our virtual, no-cost program provides one-on-one support for those progressing into long-term civilian employment. Our virtual platform allows us to connect with veterans and military spouses across the country with ease, and interact with them in a more personal, one-on-one way, which has proven to be very successful. Reducing the rate of unemployment for our veterans and their families has always been the mission of The Welcome Home Group.

VISION

The vision of The Welcome Home Group is to reduce the unemployment crisis that exists for our veterans and their family. We see a nation that supports its veterans and wants them to succeed.  That vision has not changed since 2012 when we launched TWHG.

Core Values

Our Core Values are at the forefront of our organization. They are the very foundation that the entire program sits upon and we take great strides to make sure every volunteer as well as client understands and is aligned with them. Those values have allowed us to continue providing our services to veterans and spouses around the country. Those values are:

ENGAGEMENT • ACCOUNTABILITY • HONESTY • INTEGRITY • RESPECT

The Founders

Where it all started

Joseph Corsino / Founder

Joseph Corsino founded The Welcome Home Group in 2012 after 2 years of research on Veteran Unemployment. As a former employee of Apple Computer, Thinking outside of the box was a very common way of doing things. Bringing a high level of innovation with a strong passion for our veterans into a common-sense program, Joseph has managed to develop a program that has attained an unheard of success rate amongst veterans and their family.

Janna Nachamkin / Co-Founder

Janna Nachamkin’s family background instilled in her a great respect for the military and service to country. Her father served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean conflict, her brother volunteered for the USMC and currently her cousin is a Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force. Janna is originally from NY where she spent several years working in the Architectural industry. She is currently the systems admin for TWHG.  …
